  • Jungle Hut Road Park Beach – Restrooms, outdoor shower facilities, great for sun bathers, not a swimming beach because of the strong undercurrents.
  • Malacompra County Park Beach – Popular local beach.
  • Old Salt Road Park – Not a swimming beach, lots of Sun bathers, whale watching spot, and showers.
  • River to Sea Preserve – A look Flagler County’s beautiful preserves, beach side boardwalk, nature trails, public access to beach.
  • Varn Park Beach Access – Wheel chair access to beach, restrooms, outdoor showers, with lots of ample parking. Popular for surfing and fishing.

Places To Visit

  • Farmer’s Market, Flagler Beach – Friday and Saturday market, that has become a tradition with local venders and farmers. The market has local produce, homemade items that include baskets, jewelry, and pottery.
  • Flagler Beach Municipal Pier – Landmark for the county built in 1925.
  • Flagler Beach Historical Museum – Flagler Beach’s history through a collection of historical artifacts, newspaper articles, photographs.
  • Holden House Museum, Bunnell – A look at Flagler County’s past, built almost a hundred years ago gives you a glimpse of early life family living, historical photographs and documents.

Parks

  • Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park – The 1836 Second Seminole War destroyed Bulow Plantation where the Bulow family grew sugar cane, cotton, rice. A walking trail leads visitors to the Ruins of the former plantation, crumbling homes, and slave cabins.
  • Betty Steflik Memorial Preserve – Take a stroll on the boardwalk overlooking the salt marsh, view plants and animals in their natural habitat.
  • Bing’s Landing Preserve – View the ruins of the Mala Compra Plantation, fishing from the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway from the pier.
  • Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area – Named after folk singer Gamble Rogers and railroad founder Henry Flagler. A popular feature of the park is the beach.
  • Graham Swamp Conservation – A new 3,000 acre conservation area.
  • Haw Creek Preserve – 1000 acre preserve the cypress oak and hardwood swamp.
  • Princess Place Preserve – Beautiful 1500 acre preserve has salt and freshwater marshes, hardwood hammocks and pine forests. Princess Place lodge built in 1887.
  • River to Sea Preserve – New 90 acre preserve with walking trails with public access to the beach. The Beachside boardwalk has great views of the beach and Atlantic Ocean.
  • Washington Oaks Gardens State Park – 400 acres of lots of scenic boulders lay along the beach, picnicking, fishing, gardens along the river.
