Just North of Port Charlotte and east of Englewood. Once considered North Charlotte, but its residents preferred to have it named simply North Port to proclaim its separate identity.

Inside the City, enjoy the outdoors by taking a nature hike or mountain bike ride along the Myakkahatchee Creek or in the Myakka Forest. Canoe or kayak along the Myakka River. Go for a horse ride inside the North Port Estates.Take an art class at the North Port Art Center. Or check out a concert at the North Port Performing Arts Center.
