Southwest Florida. Our home is located on the quiet east side of the island and provides direct boating or kayaking access to the Gulf of Mexico. Or home is the upstairs unit in our private duplex, providing fantastic views over the mangrove islands of Estero Bay abundant with marine wildlife and birds.
The condo is a completely remodeled 2 bed/2 bath home featuring tile in the living areas and new carpeting in the bedrooms, new kitchen cabinets with granite counters, new bathrooms and extensive screened in verandas to enjoy the scenery.
The home is decorated in a comfortable island motif. There is a complete kitchen, 2 flat screen TVs, cable, Wi-Fi to ensure that you will not miss the comforts of home.
Just below your bay facing lanai are miles of unobstructed views over your private boat dock and the bay beyond. Catch your dinner write their from your own fishing pier or bring your boat, jet ski or kayak to explore the bay and the Gulf of Mexico beyond. Keep an eye out for diving pelicans, manatees, and dolphins which will be hunting the fish rich waters.
Take a short walk to the sugar sand beaches on the Gulf side of the island where you can enjoy the world class shelling along the beach. It’s just a short bicycle ride over the drawbridge spanning Big Carlos Pass, there you’ll find yourself at the entrance to Lover’s Key State Park. The Travel Channel has rated the state park beach as one of Florida’s Top Ten Beaches.
Whether at the state park, on your private fishing pier and boat dock or on our six mile long sandy beach, this part of the island provides lots of good surf fishing. If you are so inclined, nightly meals of fresh snook, trout, redfish, whiting, pompano, and mackerel are entirely possible. To prepare your catch, there is a private BBQ for your enjoyment. There are also many local restaurants that will prepare your catch, should you choose to dine out.
It is just a short ride using the Island Trolley to Times Square at the north end of the island. There you will find a more active nightlife scene including dozens of shops, open air restaurants, bars, street performers, live entertainment, a public beach, as well as, the famous Fort Myers Beach Pier.
We have a king sized bed in the master bedroom, TWO twin bunk beds in the second bedroom, allowing 6 guests to sleep in perfect comfort without crowding the living room area. We provide linens, towels, 2 bicycles, lounge chairs and outside dining area on the veranda.
Sliding glass doors will take you out to the lanai from the living room, and from the master bedroom. Enjoy the quiet breeze on the lanai as you drink your morning coffee or evening cocktail.
Smoking and pets are prohibited. This is one of the finest units on the island. You won’t be disappointed!
